Les Renards Curieux (The Curious Foxes)
The Bioparc offers a day camp for children between 8 and 11 years old. Les Renards Curieux (The Curious Foxes) come together August 14 through August 18, 2017, to take part in scientific activities and extraordinary experiences, as well as to go behind the scenes in the Bioparc.
The children are supervised by an experienced naturalist throughout the week. The program offers four and a half days of activities as well as an evening and overnight at the Bioparc “with the wolves”!
The first three days run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Thursday, the children stay through the evening and spend the night at the Bioparc’s serviced campground. The camp ends at noon on Friday. All meals are included, so there’s no fuss with sack lunches!
The day camp includes:
- Four lunches (Monday through Thursday)
- One dinner (Thursday)
- One overnight and one evening snack (Thursday night)
- One breakfast (Friday morning)
- One T-shirt with the logo of Les Renards Curieux
Each child should bring:
- Snacks (two per day)
- Water (canteen or water bottle)
- Insect repellent
- Clothing suited to the weather
- Rainwear and rain boots
- A hat or cap
- Sleeping bag and pillow (Thursday only)
Children must wear closed-toe shoes with socks at all times.
The cost is $225.00 for the first child and $210.00 for a second or third child from the same family (tax not included).
