Festi-Oiseaux

The spring ornithological event at the Bioparc, known as the Fest-Oiseaux, is taking a break for 2024.

The photo contest in maintained.

In the program: observation outings, bird banding, photo contest, bird count with iNaturalist, etc.

Photo contest

The photo submission period is from March 16th to April 12th, 2024 at midnight.

Photos entered in the contest must be emailed to us at sbentz@bioparc.ca. To participate, complete the electronic form, one per photo.

Winning photos will be exhibited at the Bioparc for the summer season.

My curiosity is pecked

The My curiosity is pecked activity (Pic ma curiosité) is a citizen science project that consists of making an ornithological inventory that could be used by scientists for various studies and bird tracking. In addition, this activity will allow you to become aware of the diversity of birds that surround us on a daily basis and to arouse curiosity about them. This inventory will be managed through the iNaturalist app or webpage, a platform for acquiring and sharing floristic and wildlife observation data, and a community of over one million researchers and naturalists who can help you learn more about nature.

By participating in the My curiosity is pecked project, you get a chance to win one of the many entry prizes.
