Archispirostreptus gigas
Alert! Roll in a ball!
It is the largest of the millipedes. The record is a millipede of 38.5 centimeters long and 2.1 centimeters in diameter.
It possesses two means of defense. It rolls in a ball and secretes an irritating liquid, reminiscent of iodine, by the pores of its body.
