Leopard Frog
Lithobates pipiens
A great walk for such a small frog!
Able to cover long distances, adults can voyage a kilometer between their hibernation site and their place of reproduction.
Juveniles can travel 800 meters in 2 or 3 days and can go up to 5 kilometers from their place of birth.
The leopard frog is semi-aquatique and spends much of its time, mainly in the summer, outside of the water in places like fields.
